Instyler Rotating Hot...
So for christmas i got an instyler. For those who may not know what an instyler is, it's a rotating iron that straightens, flips, and supposedly curls (my hairs naturally curly so i wouldnt know).
So from instyler commercials i was pretty phyched. It has tons of great reviews including those from The View, E! News, so on so forth. It is also supposedly less damaging on hair than your plain of flat iron.
Here's what i think of it...it is really fast and the whole rotating concept is really cool, however there are some things i'm less thrilled about. For instance, it says it's not too damaging but i used this thing for like less than a minute and it was like so hot i was afraid to put it down anywhere, plus it totally burnt me =O but this also makes it fast i suppose. another thing is that, the commercials talk of it leaving hair looking glossy and stuff, well because of the brush it leaves your hair..um not frizzy, but the texture you get when your hair is all staticy.
So if any of you own an instyler, tell me what you get out of it. Thanks for reading. happy holidays

There is an abbundance of people out there that have  or had swine flu. Schools are closing, people are worried everywhere. We are talking about H1N1, a potentially deadly disease. So this leaves me wondering why people say thery aren't going to get the vaccine?
Here's what I think, This new vaccine sounds very safe, doctors everywhere are insisting on people getting this vaccine (I should know both of my parents are doctors), some schools are even giving out this vaccine, so if you have the chance by all means go for it!
I understand that It's hard to track down this vaccine because it's going very quickly and there's simply not a lot in stalk, but recently a school in NY was giving out the vaccine and more than half of the parents declined the oppurtunity! People are saying the chances of them or they're children getting a fatil case of swine flu are very unlikely but Like they said on 60 minutes, it's like as if people didn't wear seatbelts.
Will You Get The Vaccine?

Compare cell phones &...
Ok, so sexting has become a big thing amongst a lot of teens, and unfortunatley you or someone you know can ruin their whole future by simply hitting send. Are we handling this right?

I understand how unsettling it must be to parents who have children with exposed pictures of themselves out there for the world to see. But keep in mind how those sending these must feel? One minute, blinded by the naive comfort of someone who cares for you, next minute that special someont is showing all of his or her friends. Even if no one see's that pic or txt, there is still the constent worry that a police will show up at your house one day, arresting you for the distribute of child porn! (or possesion).
Now, do you think that's really fair? I mean yes, kids out there sending this stuff should know what can indeed happen, but they're just kids or teens, whatever you'd like to call them! Teens can be stupid, we're known for that, and I think people are stupid to arrest stupid teens for being stupid!!
Think about it this way, how many teens do we know out there who watch or have watched some form of porn? Alot. And it's not like you've never seen a naked person before!! But despite all of this teens are being arrester, harassed, some even commit suicide! This needs to end.
It's simple, do not send stuff to people! And people, DO NOT SHARE stuff with other people, because that would make you skum. think about your future

Long Lasting EyeLiner
Those who use the oh so wonderful eyeliner know it comes in many forms, colors, and sizes. Question is, what works for you?  I find that there are many componies who claim that their liner will "stay on all day" and "won't smugde" but you can never be sure!! So fellow Kaboodlers, share your makeup secrets!!! What Do you use? How much is it? Why does it work?
   ********************
I personally have gone through every phase, and I find the absolute best liner in the worlk for me is Sonia Kashuk dramatically defining long wear gel liner in ebony. It's amaizing! It really stays on all day without any smudging, it's pretty easy too put on and the color truly is intense. I exspecially advise those who like dark or heavy makeup to buy some!
The mascara I wear is CG (cover girl) extra eyelights, for blue eye, it has a great brush and doesn't tend to clump.
My favorite eye shadow is by Rimmel, it's Stir It Up shadow called Sure... (#300) it has a soft but defining look.
I also use a powder foundation because i'm very pail by Rimmel (stay matte).
Finally for lips, I switch up the colors but I use Revlon colorstay, a moisturizing topcoat that keeps the color throughout your day!! Thnx for reading.

Sorry that was a bit lengthy, I tend to ramble.
have a lovely Halloween!!  ~ Jackie
