Mini Heated Eyelash...
I've used so many different eyelash curlers and my eyelashes never curl. I'm sure part of it is my technique, but the most I can do with mechanical curlers was I would see a curl, reach down for my mascara, and then the curl would be gone.

But I recently tried this heated eyelash curler from Sephora. You apply the mascara and then use the curler. I was kind of skeptical, but I've been converted. It doesn't take too long for it to heat up and I can actually get my eyelashes to curl in ways I never thought would happen. And it stays curled through out the work day.

I definitely recommend this and am so happy I discovered it!

For those who voted in my poll on a Halloween costume for my son's first Halloween, attached is my sweet boy in his costume. It was also the won that had the most votes from you guys.

Comments on the actual costume, it's felt-like so very warm. My baby is a very warm baby so I couldn't leave it on him for too long. Also it was kind of hard getting it on him. It would have been easier if there were buttons straight down the back. But there were two buttons at the top and then the legs button up. The tail with the costume is super cute!

Graco Newborn Napper Pack...
The Graco Newborn Napper Pack n' Play- Melbourne is one of the best things we bought for our baby Ryan. There are a lot of different Pack n' Plays but we really liked the one with the newborn napper.

With the newborn napper, we don't have to worry about Ryan rolling over and he sleeps very comfortably and peacefully.

The changing table is very convenient, except that Ryan always rolls to the edge. When we first brought him home at 7lb 8oz, we thought he's too light. But at 11 lbs now, he shouldn't still be rolling over. And he hates when he does. I try putting him in diagonally. The bag on the side for diapers and wipes is also very convenient, though some of the other Pack n' Plays have cubby holes that we liked more.

Ryan definitely likes the vibrations, though the first speed is way too high for our liking. Ryan also like the songs, but doesn't really care much for the nature sounds.

We have yet to try traveling with this yet. But assembly was pretty easy, so it shouldn't be too much of a pain.

All in all, we're very happy with this and would recommend it to other new/first time parents.

My husband and I are having our first kid. My due date is July 21st, so I just passed by 4th month and in my 17th week. We're super excited and super scared. One of our many to dos is to register somewhere, or multiple places. We live in NYC, specifically in Manhattan, where we don't necessarily live close to any stores with baby/maternity sections.

Any suggestions on where to register? Since it won't be convenient for us to go to the store, we want to also make sure that they have a good registry. A few years ago when my sister-in-law was pregnant with her first child, she registered at Babies R Us. During her baby shower, she got so many multiples of gifts because the tracking on what gifts were purchased was pretty crappy. We want to avoid incidents like that. We also want to make sure it's easy to return or exchange items.

The stores that we know of that have baby registries are Target, Babies R Us, Amazon and Buy Buy Baby. Any recommendations or places we should steer clear of? ny recommendations on what to register for or what not to register for is appreciated too!

Futurama - The Beast with...
I've watched every Futurama episode at least 5 times, and was devastated when Fox canceled it. Then when Comedy Central picked it up, I was ecstatic.

When I watched Bender's Big Score, I thought it was great and really enjoyed it. I loved the way it ended.

So with excitement, I watched The Beast with a Billion Bucks and was beyond disappointed. It really really just sucked. The first two episodes were pretty good, but I don't know what happened during the third and fourth episodes. It was just completely went down hill. I've never disliked any Futurama episode, but it has finally happened and I am very disappointed. I'm hoping the next episodes will be better.

Ultra Black Triple Action...
I'm always willing to give something a few tries before I completely dismiss it. I'm finally ready to give up on a product. Every time I've tried the Sephora's Ultra Black Triple Action Mascara, I've been very disappointed.

It's supposed to lengthen, thicken and curl. I've never gotten those results before, but I'm not the best mascara applier.

But I don't think it should make my eyelashes feel like one big clump. When I accidentally touch it, I feel like it's one huge lash and not individual lashes. And I hate fearing that every time I touch or rub my eyes I will smudge the mascara. But it always happens. There is nothing worse (and mortifying) than having raccoon eyes.

So Sephora's Ultra Black Triple Action Mascara will have to go on my Tried and Failed list.
