  • My Baby's First Dunks

Being a sneakerphile, it took every inch of me not to buy my baby girl her first pair of Nike <insert any line they carry here>.

I guess I wasn't sure if my wife would ever go for it since she is anti-brand.  She has a really interesting point:  if I'm going to wear your brand and basically advertise for you, then I should get paid to do it.

Anyway, I've been a walking billboard since I can remember so in that sense, my wife and I have different views.  However, when it comes to our baby girl, if it looks cute on her, then that's all that matters :)

And these Nike Dunks are overboard cute.

Not exactly haute couture but for a guy who works where there are way more women than men (btw - I am not complaining...), I feel the need to be a little more cavemanny.  And nothing is more cavemanny than swinging a big club around.  The R11 is just that.

This was one of the first Styleboards that I put together.  I thought I would have a little fun with it rather than actually putting something together that showed my "style".

    Men's Pony for Yahoo!...
once upon a time, i used to work for this magical place in silicon valley.  a place where everyone bled purple and we were on top of the world.

then one day, a newer, shinier, place appeared in the valley and everyone flocked over there.  and pretty soon, the magical place wasn't so magical anymore.

nowadays, the once was magical place, creates interesting marketing campaigns that, well... makes you scratch your noggin.

while it is a noggin scratcher, the campaign does introduce purple-themed products that you can buy right off the site.  one of them that i thought was noteworthy were the Purple Pony kicks.

if you like purple and want to be unique, i doubt you'll find anyone else with, first of all Pony's, then secondly, purple Pony's.
