Hello Kaboodlers! last night the hubby and I went to see MGMT in concert. It was so great! I highly recommend seeing this band live.I wish I had pics from the show but they didn't allow cameras at the venue..oh well :(  Anyways, here is my outfit:

Greetings kaboodlers! Summer may be over but its still hot where I live and we've been making lots of homemade icecream! I bought the Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Ice cream maker recently (you may recognize it from my poll from earlier). I love it! It works great!! All you do is throw in the ingredients and in 20-25 minutes you have yummy homemade icecream. It doesn't use any salt or ice either so its super convenient and easy. We have made plum icecream using coconut milk (left picture above), raspberry chocolate chip using heavy cream and fresh raspberries with chocolate chips and chocolate syrup (right picture above), nectarine w/ coconut milk, and chocolate banana w/ coconut milk so far and I'm looking forward to making many more. I also bought the vegan icecream cookbook "Lick It" and it has some great recipes that you can make vegan or not, I just liked that book because it doesn't use raw eggs in the recipes like most icecream cookbooks do because I'm allergic to raw eggs. Its a nice book and I highly recommend it as well. Anyone else been making homemade icecream this summer??
