Ok, so i know i have blogged about this before (and i got really helpful advice then), but i just discovered these new chairs and i looove the styles soo much better than any other chairs i have considered before so this has changed everything, and since its such a big purchase for me i couldnt resist doing another blog to discuss it indepth again (i get more feedback than just with polls). ANYWAYS, here it is. i am definitely doing green since mostly everyone before thought i should go with green to contrast my red couch, BUT, which green would go better, (see swatches above in styleboard) the stripes or the tweed-looking one? and which style would go better? the one with buttons or no buttons? i'm just a little afraid that the button chair will look like i was trying too hard to match the sofa because it has buttons too (although i kinda like the button chair better), what do you think? please tell me which chair goes better AND color for that chair and why (if you have time) in your comments. by the way, once again the curtains and side table at the bottom of this styleboard are the ones i already have in the living room, in case that helps. thanks SO much guys!!! :D xoxo

Hey everyone! I could really use your opinions and advice in making my decision about a new chair for my living room. In the top half of the styleboard, these are the exact things i have.. red sofa, tree garden curtains, dark wood side table, pixel afghan with green background and an orange coat rack. in the bottom half of the board are the 2 chairs I am trying to decide between. which one do you think would go better? my tree garden curtains have red and orange in them but no green..the flowers on them are kindof a greenish yellow though. i am kindof leaning towards the green chair (its a woven tweed material) but will that clash with my curtains? or look odd with the red sofa? i really wanted to get the floral whimsy curtains (pictured in the center at the bottom) but i need 4 panels and urban outfitters is sold out and only has one panel left.. they would have been soo perfect because they have green, orange and red in them and they would tie everything together.alas.
anyways, let me know what you think and what your vote is: orange chair or green chair. thanks so much!!

Ciao!
I just noticed today at my local Publix supermarket that they are now selling Talenti gelato by the pint. I LOVE gelato. My husband and I go to the gelato cafe in town as frequently as possible. (my favorite flavor i've ever had there is the mascarpone one..to die for) but I think its pretty awesome that i can get it at the grocery store too now. i want to try the pictured tahitian vanilla bean and some of the others. soo, has anyone tried this? is it any good?? how do you guys feel about gelato? whats your favorite flavors?

i made this last night and my husband and i loooved it! my mom actually was the one to send it to me, its a weight watchers recipe but its so good you can't even tell :) it was pretty easy too, cooking and prep took a total of 40 min for me.
Baked Falafel Sandwiches
- 15 1/2 oz canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup(s) onion(s), chopped
- 1/4 cup(s) parsley, or cilantro, fresh, chopped
- 1 medium garlic clove(s), minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp table salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Tribe All Natural Hummus Sesame Tahini, or other brand
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 8 piece(s) lettuce
- 4 large wheat pita(s)
- Combine chickpeas, onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt and baking soda in a food processor or blender. Process until mixture is coarsely pureed and transfer to large bowl. Stir in flour; shape mixture into 4 large patties and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook until golden brown, flipping once, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer skillet to oven and bake 10 minutes more.
- Meanwhile, whisk together tahini, water and lemon juice in a small bowl.
- To assemble sandwiches, place 2 lettuce leaves inside each pita, add 1 falafel patty and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of tahini dressing.

Hello everyone..
Soo my lastest obsession is fondue. I've gone to the Melting Pot Restaurant before and it was good but soo expensive so I want to have my own fondue party some day. I have never tried making it yet but I've been reading about it for a while now. I just won the fondue set on the left (vintage) from ebay and I'm thinking about getting the one on the right (Rachael Ray) also, because I've read its good to have more than one pot if you plan on having a party, one can be used for the main course and one for dessert. I'm thinking a cheese one to dip bread and veggies in followed by a chocolate one to dip strawberries and other fruits, maybe pound cake and/or brownies, and marshmallows in. I also bought the great party fondues cookbook and hopefully that will have some fun recipes. Anyways, I was just wondering, what are your experiences with fondue?? Do you have any stories about it or advice? Thanks so much!
UPDATE: I have actually decided against the Rachael Ray pot and instead bought the
Trudeau Electric 3 in 1 Fondue 11 Piece Set because it got such good reviews and I like the fact that I don't have to fool with keeping a flame lit and I like that it is made for all 3 types of fondue. Also, I'm not sure if I will be getting the vintage one, as the seller has not communicated with me..we will see what happens with that :\
My fondue cookbook came in the mail and it looks great, tons of recipes I want to try!
