Hello Kaboodlers!
I know I don't post often and I apologize that this post isn't style related.
I need to ask for your help though! My mother is very ill. She has a rare blood condition as well as lupus, and both medical problems are destroying her organs. Her liver has been affected by the illnesses and she will need a liver transplant. She recently went to the hospital and I think that she will be there for awhile.
Anyway, my mom has been really depressed. I was wondering if anyone would mail her a get well card? I realize that you don't know her but I would like to show her that people care. I will message you my address if you would like to send a card. You don't have to put your address on it if you don't want to. But please sign it with your username if you plan to send a card.
I would deeply appreciate help with this!
Also last year after I graduated college, I was profiled by the news paper. If you are interested, you can read more about my story and my mom's illness by clicking this link: http://delcotimes.com/articles/2010/05/23/news/doc4bf8954b62827678937670.txt
Thank you so much everyone!! We are truly the K family. -
Hi everyone!!
I just got my first professional job! I am working on transitioning my wardrobe from college into the working world. I need a really good pair of ballet flats to wear to the office.
I tried on the Tory Burch Reva flats in leather (I’m wearing the yellow ones in the picture). But I would get black if I bought them. They seem very comfortable except they seem a bit stiff around the side of my foot. The lady at Neiman Marcus told me that when I wear them they will give and become soft. So my questions are:
1) Does anyone own these shoes?
2) Are they as comfortable as everyone says? Does the leather eventually give?
3) Are they worth the price tag? Do they hold up/are they good quality?
Any other recommendations for comfortable/professional looking flats?
Thanks for the advice!

Hello fellow Kaboodlers!
I was browsing the net recently and I came across a cool project on ivillage.com. The editors of ivillage each photographed their “style piles.”
Now, what is a “style pile” you may ask? According to the project, it is any item that defines your style or contributes to inspiring you. Items can include clothing, accessories, books, really anything.
Click link to view the photos of their “style piles:” http://www.ivillage.com/caryn-dubelko-director-community/5-b-287811?nlcid=hp|10-14-2010|#289856
I was feeling very inspired by the pictures so I decided to do a “style pile” of my own. My “style pile” is pictured above and everything in it inspires me in someway.
So what inspires you? I would love to see some of your “style piles!”

Hey everyone!
I thought since many people are posting their Halloween costumes, I would share my fave Halloween costume of all time.
I believe I was in about 10th grade when we did this. My entire family dressed up as the band KISS!
I was Paul Stanley (at right) who is my favorite KISS member.
My family's group photo is to the left.
Have a Happy Halloween fellow Kaboodlers! -

Hi everyone,
First of all, I am sorry that I have not been checking my Kaboodle regularly and looking at all the awesome items you send me. I have just been overwhelmed with school right now. I am a senior in college and this spring will be my last semester. So I hope to get back to Kaboodling soon.

Anyway, here’s the actual purpose of this post…What concealer would you recommend to cover dark under eye circles? Things to keep in mind
1) I am very pale
2) I don’t have other skin concerns, just the under eyes
3) I already use an eye cream (Clinique All About Eyes)
4) I don’t mind if your recommendation is pricy
I have already tried the concealers in the Clinique line and they didn’t cover my under eye circles that well. Has anyone used the YSL Touche Éclat (pictured above) ? Is it as good as everyone says and is it worth the $40?
Thanks so much for your help!
Jessica
