Here's my first WIW post. This is me in my new "Behind the Clouds" Dress from Anthropologie and Steve Madden sandals (purchased last summer).

The second pic is just to show the ruffle details...not to show my non-existent cleavage ;)

Better late than never!

Personals

How tall are you?
5'5"

What is your shoe size?
Seven and a half. I have narrow bony feet (I don't like my feet--bleh)

What color is your hair?
Who knows? It's got red and brown and streaks of blonde. I used to be more of a strawberry blonde, but my hair has gotten darker in my old age ;)

What is your ethnicity?
Caucasian

What country do you live in?
Bay Area native! USA

Styles
What is your favorite online shopping website?

Kaboodle of course!

What would you describe your style as?
Pinstripes are sexy, retro floral dresses are sweet, hoodies are comfy. I'm pretty much all over the place. It's all about what fits right on me.

What is your favorite shoe style?
I love the classic stiletto--pointy toe, 5" heel. However, I find myself wearing comfy flats most days.

Lists

Which list would you say you add to the most?
Definitely jewelry!

Which list is your personal favorite?
Gotta be My Wedding list.

What do you always make sure to do with your lists?
Haha I like to add exclamation points to all my list titles.

Favorites

What is your favorite food?
Italian!

What is your favorite drink?
Gin and tonic with lime. Oh? Non-alcohol? Hot chocolate.

What is your favorite color?
Pink

What is your favorite dessert?
Cover it in chocolate, I'll eat it...okay with some exceptions.

5 Random Facts
1. My dad calls me "jinnyjinn" so that's my username. Other variations include: JenJen, JinJin, and Gin 'n tonic (which I happen to love <see Favorites above>). I also go by Jennifer, Jenny, and Jen :)
2. I bought my friends in college. That's what my sorority sisters and I say jokingly. I was VP of my sorority and loved it (most of the time).
3. My fiance proposed after knowing each other for a little more than four months.
4. I'm obsessed with Ken Burns documentaries.
5. I'm a sucker for cheesy 80s love songs... a la Peter Cetera.

Oh, and the puppy? That's Deana. She's my parent's new pup. She's cute except when they bring her over to my apartment and she poops by my side of the bed. I'm thinking she does this on purpose.

Other picture is my sister, mom, and I at my bff's bridal shower. :)

Monogrammed Palais Plaque
Oh someday I will have a fabulous home with fabulous French doors with my fabulous future hubby. *Sigh*

When I saw this Monogrammed Palais Plaque from Ballard Designs, voila! My vision became complete. This beautifully handcrafted wrought iron plaque would look good over any mantle or doorframe. It could even grace a barren wall.

Complete with a natural rust finish and antique gold monogram...J'aime!

Bedford Smartâ„¢ Recharge...
It drives me up the wall that we have the camera charging on the floor in the living room, the iPhone charging on the kitchen table, my Blackberry charging on the dresser in the bedroom, the bluetooth headset charging wherever we have room, and then there are the iPods...

One thing's for certain, we're not getting rid of any of these, but it would be oh-so-nice to have them all in one spot! Pottery Barn answers my desperate call for gadget reorganization with the Bedford Smart Recharge Station. Alas, no more tangled cords and trying to figure out which charger goes with which item!

The Recharge Station comes with a six-plug powerstrip and has four holes that allow cords to come in through the back. You can order the Station in white, black, or espresso to match your kitchen, den, living room, or bedroom decor.

Okay now time to charge my CC!

Googly Eye Hairclips
If you had eyes in the back of your head, you could tell me that I looked good as you walked away. Well, Jack, now there's no excuse not to throw me that compliment!

These amusing googly-eye hair clips, created by Aurora Crispin of The Curiosity Shoppe, breathe a second life into googly eyes! Just looking at these brings me back to all those fun book report projects I did in the 4th grade. *sigh*

At only $6, these are worth a look ;)

Beard Cap
Here's a nifty twist on a knitted hat and pseudo scarf all in one. The bearded cap, which hails from blistering Iceland is making waves even here in sunny California. Scandinavian Grace retails this and other unique items from Nordic countries out of its base in Brooklyn, NY.

Love it or hate it?
