Hey everyone!

This weekend I celebrated my friend Josh's birthday (pictured above) at the brew fest in Sacramento with his sister, Tiffany, and his roommates.  There were about 55 breweries pouring a few beers each, so there was no lack of beer, that's for sure.

Since it was Josh's bday, he decided to take a huge mug instead of the puny glass they handed out to everyone.  A few places actually filled his mug up, which was awesome. 

Needless to say, it was awesome.  So many great beers (and a few REALLY bad ones, haha) but the one that stuck out in my mind was the Reutberger Dunkel

Anyway, just thought i'd fill you all in!

Hey Kaboodlers!

I could use your help.  I have NO CLUE how to maintain my skin.  I'm usually pretty lucky when it comes to pimples and other gross stuff like that, but I usually get a bit oily on my forehead, and I just worry that my luck is going to run out on me.

I do use apricot scrub on my face in the shower but I've seen people use scubby pads and other stuff like that.  I'd like to de-oil without using just a towel (I fell like it's ineffective).

Also, I get blackheads on my nose, and I think it's gross.  I can't afford to keep up with the strips that rip 'em out, any other way to get rid of them?

Any product recommendations?  Keep in mind, I'm currently without job, so I'll have to steer clear of the really expensive stuff.  I was hoping to get some recommendations, try a few things out, post some pictures, and give my opinion on them, so the above picture works as a "before" shot.

Hey everybody!
I had an absolute blast yesterday!  @Cristina and I took a field trip to San Fran and hung out at the Renegade Craft Fair.  It was awesome, all sorts of booths/tables with the coolest stuff ever.  As shown above, I bought a Classy Lion pin from Berkeley Illustration and Cristina bought a whole bunch of cool stuff.  She did model the Pizza Scarf for me (pictured above), which was almost as cool as the Bacon and Egg scarf.  We even ran into @triplyksis and @kagerade there!
After that, we went to the Presidio Social Club and had some fancy schmancy drinks and ate liver and drank maple syrup shots (well, one of us did).
All in all, it was a great day, perfect SF weather, fun craft fair, and I got the coolest pin ever.

I was hanging out with my friend Tiffany in San Francisco when I decided to raid her coat rack.  Not only am I wearing the most hipster-tastic stuff I've ever worn, I was also standing pigeon-toed AND we were listening to some Indy music on vinyl...  Does it get more ridiculously hipster than that?

Hey, everyone!
Well, after a bit of a nasty breakup from my previous employer, I've been working with a new wedding photographer.  She was nice enough to give me a copy of all the unedited shots I took.  I got it today, and just spent the last few hours editing.
Due to budget constraints, my (lack of) gear is preventing me from branching out and working on my own.
