Children take amazing pictures.
you should totally get this
i think photography is awesome, this would be a great gift!
My first impulse was to say Nr 3 for a 5 y.o. but think the camera would be much more practical and fun. Good price too!!
Go for creative expression + Pirates
My vote goes for the camera ... get em interested in art early and it may pay off later on.
kids love cameras
so u can see everything from his view :)
I think it would be amazing to see what a 5 year old would take pictures of and I'm sure he/she would love to see them someday when they're older.
My 2y/o really loves taking pictures, and I'm sure a 5y/o with the ability to actually take fairly decent pictures, would also love it- and enjoy seeing the results.
My kids love the V Smile system, so when I saw the V Smile Pocket and knew we were going to be taking a long car trip to Canada - I knew this would be a worthwhile investment! Using the A/V jacks in our entertainment system in the car, the kids were able to play using the 10 inch screen in the car...
might as well teach as well as provide fun
I would always go for the more educational toy. I think it would entertain him longer, too.
a 5 year old needs to have a learning toy - the pirates stuff is really for older kids, even though he may love the pirates, he is probably not ready for the other two yet because of natural lack of motor functioning at his age. The learning handheld has larger buttons and is geared toward his age. when he is 7 or 8 get him the pirate stuff.
He can learn more on this one. My 6 year old son has one and loves it.
I always go for the educational toys over other things. :)
The Pirates stuff is cute, but this will be more useful in the long term.
u just dont get a 5 yr old an mp3 player..... they are too litle
My six year old would love this
Most fun.
I think this is more appropriate for a 5 year old
This will help develop his mind better than. The other two should be saved for when he is older
Better for learning, and fun too.
at least they can learn something with this one
I'm a sucker for the learning toys LOL :)
i want this
Unless your 5 yr old is really in Pirates of the Caribbean and enjoys taking pictures of listening to music pick one of the other two, but if not I think the V.Smile Interactive Learning Handheld would be good for them.
This thing is pretty durable and I know some kids that LOVE it! It'll keep your 5 year old busy for a while!
interactive toys are stimulating for a healthy growth
most suitable and cute. plus they learn things
He's 5- he doesn't need a digital cam or an MP3 player. Save those gifts for when he's in his teens.
i always lean toward educational toys
My daughter has one of these. HOURS of entertainement and great on long car journeys.
The other two are to high tech for him to really get a use out of.
learning toy, and he would break the mp3
He's five. He's going to be a little rough for an MP3 player or digital camera, right? The V.Smile's at least meant for younger kids. :) Hopefully, it'll not break so fast!
Got these for my children and they never put them down. I don't mind because of the learning involved. and i connect it to my TV too.
Much more educational and you can make it work for older. Theres other games and things to buy for it. Better for your money
this is 5 y.o. material
He wouldnt know how to use a camera or an mp3. Better off giving him a disposable and an old portable cd player.
I bought my son one of these! it's very good and entertaining at that age.
this will be good for your 5yo
Get your child something for a child.
dood. 5 yeaaar old
My 5 yr old has this and LOVES it. (bonus, it's educational)
Fun and learning. Not yet ready for the other ones
i picked this because your child will be smarter then the rest of the class with this one
educational
This will so keep him busy when you are on road trips, it depends on what type of kid he is..
i got my 5yr old a camera last year - was great at first, but now it sits on the shelf. the mp3 player seems a little OLD for a 5yr old. leave something for them to want at 6,7,8. stick to the Vsmile!
interactive
My grandson LOVES his...he has had it for three years and still plays with it all the time.
with this he'd be learning alittlw somthing to
he can learn more
Much more practical for his age. And believe me, at 5 the other 2 will get less use and more chance of getting lost. My boys are 6 and 8. Bought them both MP3 players similar to this and a camera the year before. Not as interested in them as they were with the Leapster (comperable to the V.Smile).
He's 5... what's he gonna do with an mp3 player???? And the camera is nice too, but I'd pick this one because its more educational for your kid
Learning games are COOL!
definataly
learning.. its all about learning
more educational
Don't get them a mobile phone!!
being a teacher, educational toys get my vote! my 5yo is getting the Leapster Lmax
this 1 will have him/her learn alot
My daughter loved this toy when she was younger -- about 5yrs old.
Educational
The other 2 won't have lasting appeal as this learning handheld-and it's interactive!
