Howdy, all! I need your help...

I picked up this cute Susana Monaco strapless dress in midnight (navy) last weekend and I need a shrug/cardigan to wear with it. I'm thinking cropped, since it has an empire waistline.

Any ideas?

Custom Acrylic Necklace...

Being the passionate web geeks that we are here at Kaboodle, we sponsored a tech event this past weekend. We had the chance to demo our new Back to School section in partnership with Seventeen and JCPenny, and got to show off our nifty newly-redesigned Styleboards.

These soirées are usually predominately male, but there have been a lot more ladies on the scene as of late. I was pleased as punch to see a more even mix on Friday night, especially since we hosted a red carpet photo wall. More ladies makes for better people watching (sorry fellas), and a much more interesting style scene!

This was by far the most fab dress at the party, and Shira Lazar (who was an absolute peach) looked amazing in it. Having spotted it at Revolve, I went home and ordered it immediately. ;)  I kept it simple with a dark pair of Paige denim, a white BR button-down, and these fun pumps from Stuart Weitzman. It was all about accessorizing for the Kaboodle team...  check out the necklaces I had custom-made for the Kaboodle gals.

Our friends at Pandora were there providing the music, and Etchstar was there providing on-site engraving (I now have a Kaboodle logo on my brand-spankin’-new white iPhone). There was even a cameo appearance by Chamillionaire, but the highlight of the evening was definitely when                MC Hammer arrived on the scene!
