Of all the fall trends, I am absolutely OBSESSED with leather leggings. I want them so so so bad!

They looked fantastic on the runway. So hot with a ruffle-front white/cream blouse, a fitted & well-tailored blazer, & some patent leather heels. Or a loose grungy tee, some bright jewel toned pumps, & a grandpa sweater. All of which I have right now...just waiting to be paired with the perfect leather leggings...

The thing is, I'm not sure if it would be worth splurging on. Your basic black leggings they are not. These babies are sure to be noticed, and being the type who hates to wear the same outfit twice, I know I wouldn't be wearing them too often. The affordable option would be to buy some shiny lame leather-like leggings...but it just doesn't have the same effect. There are some things in fashion worth splurging on - like your LBD, the perfect pair of jeans, a timeless trench coat. Is the leather legging one of them?

I'll tell you what my wallet thinks. With bills & college loans aplenty, it's a resounding "no,no."

...at least until my next paycheck. o.o
