My family loves to bake, whether it's chocolate chip cookies or homemade waffles. A few years ago, my mom and I discovered this AMAZING vanilla extract from
J.R. Watkins. (If you are still using that McCormick Vanilla that you bought at the grocery store, you should consider trying Watkins - you will absolutely notice a significantly better vanilla flavor!) Anyways, during Christmas shopping and errands, I stumbled upon something interesting at Walgreens -
beauty products by Watkins! So I figured I would toss something in my mom's stocking for Christmas so she could give it a try. It was a huge hit! The lemon cream scent is
fabulous; I really have never encountered such a delectable body cream! It is not greasy and makes hands feel smooth as butter. Watkins makes all sorts of products, from gourmet baking essentials to household cleaners. They also pride themselves on using "only natural, environmentally friendly ingredients from renewable resources." I also noticed some of the Watkins items are sold at Target. I'm guessing they have been around all along, but my eyes have just recently been opened. Has anyone tried any other Watkins products that they love? I can't wait to try out the rest of the products, but I don't know where to begin...

Just made my first Etsy purchase!
Ok, I'll admit that once a female gets into her mid-to-late twenties, she should be getting rid of her stuffed animal collection, not expanding it - - - but I could not resist some of the amazingly adorable handmade creatures on Etsy. I wouldn't call myself a "Toys R Us Kid," but I certainly don't wanna grow up if I can't indulge in a plush friend every once in a while.

Who says style can't be noticed on the road?
After a nasty collision at a stoplight on a rainy evening, my car was a total loss (no one was hurt, thank goodness!). Although I spend the last few weeks missing my 2006 CR-V, the new 2010 model came in - and I'm so happy with it! It looks like a completely different car (inside and out), but once I took it for a drive, I realized it's got the familiar feel of the CR-V.
My previous 2006 CR-V was a "Pearl Red," but the 2010 came in "Tango Red" - which turned out to look too bright for my taste (almost like a candy apple). So I picked the "Glacier Blue" color - it's metallic and almost looks silver in some lights. I think it's the right color for the new model's exterior design.
I am a happy Honda lover all over again!

I have been a faithful Bare Escentuals user, and I just recently discovered their new bareMinerals Matte foundation. This is just what I've been looking for - I absolutely **love** the new "Click, Lock and Go" component - it's so much easier for traveling! I will admit that I used to stuff a kleenex in the lid to avoid excess makeup spilling everywhere. This device provides a genius solution to a pesky problem of the past.

Just bought my first boyfriend jacket (
LC's line at Kohl's).
I was planning on wearing it with the typical skinny jeans and heels, but any other advice on what to pair it with?
