Hi friends,
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a good weekend and Mother's Day. Yesterday my daughter and I went to Disneyland & California Adventure. We both have annual passes and we thought it would be fun to go together. Here is out goofball picture from the Space Mountain ride. Yes, we act immature when the camera goes off (of course, I sat like that much of the time, not knowing when the camera was gonna shoot). What cracks me up even more is that little boy's face in the back seat! We don't know that family. Hope you have a great day.

I don't know about you, but it seems we need some pizzazz around here. I know many of us are very busy, but I thought it might be fun to do a veggie & fruit board mini-challenge. Perhaps a Style Gourd. heehee You can use actual fruits/veggies or find products with veggie/fruit names. Maybe lime green, etc. How about it?

So today was a bit interesting. My friends & I went to go skydiving. Our reservation time was 12:00 pm. We would have to wait awhile, as fog was a factor in the morning, and the jumps were backed up a few hours. We waited. And waited. And, yes, waited. 4:00, and finally they called our names. We got our harnesses on, and started to walk to the airplane waiting area. About a minute later, we find out that our International airport has re-routed it's jets-which will now fly in the same air space as the skydiving place. So bummed. First pic, getting ready for the jump. Yay! 2nd pic, don't get to jump. Boo! 3rd pic, the airplane we didn't get to go on. We will re-schedule.

As many people are becoming more socially responsible and eco-friendly, I thought I'd share a few eco-friendly shopping sites. In the first pic, is a tri-blend jersey from Threads for Thought. The company started out making T-shirts from organic cotton & % of sales given back to charity. The 2nd pic is a necklace from Raven + Lily, who sell jewelry, scarves, paper & bath products. The company helps empower women around the globe. In India, women print, press and stamp images on recycled paper from old newspapers, cotton & denim. Purchases help the women maintain independence and support their families. In Ethiopia, artillery shells that are found on farmers' land are given to bead makers & local women. They melt the bullets and use vintage coins to make jewelry. Last, is the Glamour Conscious Collection at H&M. The clothing is made with sustainable materials. The pic is of a dress from the Ultimate Red Carpet evening dress line. Check out this website that features eco-fashion brands: shopfuturestandard.com

Well, I heard from Eunice today. After she was seen in those fabulous new updated looks, she caught the eye of a debonair MANnequin who swept her off her feet! Well, she didn't have feet at the time, so he purchased her an entire body! She is living in France now. Eunice wrote, "I'd like to thank all the Kaboodlers who gave me a new updated style. I loved all of the styles. I just can't pick one that I liked the best." Yes, that's all she wrote. Eunice wasn't known to have the mind of Einstein. Farewell Eunice, perhaps we will see you back in the states some day.
