Shimmer Strips Custom...
Confession: I'm a makeup junkie. My bathroom is stacked with bags jam-packed with lip glosses, lipsticks, and eye shadows. However, I have always been terrified by blushes and, to my embarrasement, own a mere two (one of which I don't dare touch for fear of looking like an over-active circus clown).

I was extremely intimidated when I first spotted Physicians Formula's new Shimmer Strips Custom Blush & Highlighter (in "Sunkissed Glow"), but after seeing Blake Lively's gorgeous summer look on the Gloss Kit I knew I had to give this product a shot and attempt to recreate the look.

Pros:
- It really does give my cheeks a nice, healthy blushing glow. I love the fact that it has five different, yet coordinating shades so I can choose how dramatic the blush will appear on my pale face.
- This product works just as great on the eyes! The lightest shade is a perfect eyebrow highlighter.
- My skin is uber-sensitive and I have large pores, but this product has yet to break me out.
- I love the texture. It's not chalky at all, but instead glides on very smooth.
- It's fragrance-free. I can't tell you how many times I have returned products (or simply tossed them in the garbage) because of the smell.

Con:
- It can definitely live up to its name and give you some major shimmer if used heavily. I found that one swipe to each of my cheeks is perfect.

Tip:
- Use a matte blush underneath, such as Nars' Creme Blush (I have it in "Penny Lane") to give your cheeks a little extra definition.
