A further sampling of items from my colorful home office area. A few years ago I moved from an apartment where I had a separate apple green office/bedroom into one where my office/library is integrated with the living and dining areas. I probably would have made a more conservative color choice than hot pink for my large file boxes (not shown) had I anticipated such a change. I'm pulling in other colors now for a sort of rainbow effect: white walls with blue, green, red, and, obviously, pink accents.

I've been adding in acid green and blue items, so perhaps a rainbow effect will emerge from all the eclecticism. You can see why I was attracted to Paperchase's Patchwork line, shown at the bottom. Do you think my table could be supplemented with bluish and greenish Fiesta Ware? It's eclectic as it is.
