here is the second find from west elm. i just love the simplicity of this bed set with the black, sketchy tree and bird motiffs. i think you could really mix and match this up with other prints and colors. make it summery with yellow and green or fall and winter with browns and wines...lovely lovely!!

i just had to post once more, another great find from viva terra. how lovely would it be to have this illuminated owl lamp on the side table next to your bed? i would absolutely love it!

i was going through the last issue of Home Beautiful (july 2007) and have come across all sorts of lovely finds in that magazine. one of them being this beautiful set of melamine plates, pretty in black and ivory with a trompe l’oeil doily print from elsewares ($36). as the magazine suggests, perfect for home-baked cookies.  i’m thinking they are pretty nice for some cupcakes too!
