The thing to remember with animal print themes is that a little goes a long way. That's why I'm only doing a few accessories rather than anything too crazy.
I am going with this lamp shade and decorative pillow because they'll lend just the right amount of wildness to my room without overdoing it. I ordered them from Alluminare because I've ordered from them in the past and have been thrilled with their products, quality and customer service.
What do you guys think of animal print themes? I'd love to hear about it.

This vase takes my breath away. According to the item description:

The problem is, if I had one of these beauties I would be afraid to put it out for fear that someone (read: clumsy me) would accidently bump into it sending it flying across the room only to shatter and find me crying over my loss.
Ok, so I digress. I could seriously see this sitting out on my coffee table. What a lovely conversation piece. Wouldn't all my friends be jealous? Aaaaaah.

Just look at the incredible detail of the waves, and how the water even appears to glisten on the rocks.
There are so few true artists left in this world. I've found one of them.

I think I might have to get myself a little Christmas present and order a set of these.

Ok, so this pillow was in my list but I am adding it to my blogazine now because I ordered it and it just came in. Seriously, look at the sharp color. It really pops and brightens up the room, without being overpowering.
It's on my couch now (I wish I had my chaise to put it on, but I digress...) and it looks so inviting. It's comfortable too, which is a bonus. A lot of pretty throw pillows are hard as a rock and serve only as decoration.
Matter of fact...I think I'll go take a nap on my beautiful new pillow.
