I'm just going to start this off clearly: I LOVE this tee. It is SO INSANELY cute (as you can see) and that is always a bonus. Not to mention the fact that it fits great, and of course is very versatile. It comes from the awesome indie brand
Backseat Kiss Clothing. , A California company with
adorable handmade designs, printed on American Apparel shirts!
That's it... Just a cute little shirt. :)

My school is having a "fancy"-themed dance (SERIOUSLY, I mean, could they be any more original?)
Anyway, me and my friends decided to wear funky-but awesome- outfits... Just seeing what you thought of mine! :D
The dress I'm wearing is actually a vintage one, but it looks almost exactly like the one in the photo, and the color is only a slightly darker blue. Also, the shoes are similar to what I will be wearing, though mine I got a while ago from Charlotte Russe, and they're not on the website anymore.
Any comments?
(Also, the jacket I'm wearing on top is a black cropped coat)

Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite books. Yes, of ALL TIME. Whatever inspired Lewis Carrol to write it, I don't know, but somehow he got the idea into his head to do so. Two books full of sheer joy.
(Check them out from the library if you haven't read both books already!)
ANYWAY, Tarina Tarantino, everyone's favorite jewelry designer, created a set of 5 Alice In Wonderland rings. And they are gorgeous.
Using the original artwork from the books (and I LOVE the drawings- the books aren't the same without them) and some, uh, rings, there is now available 5 different characters to choose from to wear on your fingers!! (See the styleboard)
Yes, I am aware that my opinion of these is very biased, since I love A.I.W., but still- who CAN'T love these rings?

Ever heard of Frozen Peas Accessories? No? I didn't think so. I doubt you know what you're missing out on. :) It's an adorable, SUPER-INDIE company that makes, well, accessories! Necklaces, wallets, tote bags, earrings and pins are their main specialties. EVERYTHING is done by one amazing lady, Alberta May Poon. She has serious skill. :D
Almost everything made by FPA is animal or nature related, making for an irresistible selection! Plus, it's a completely independent company-so it's not just
called indie, it actually is. Very much so. Some of the creations can be a bit OVERLY esoteric (Let's just say not everyone will be dying for a pair of evil tooth earrings) but overall, it's pretty darn awesome.
Oh! I almost forgot- the actual

Admit it. At some point in your life, you've played with
LEGOs and enjoyed it. A lot. Why not celebrate that?
Those are basically the reasons behind Shanalogic's
set of LEGO-inspired jewelry. On the super expensive side, they have a whole
collection of Jacqueline Sanchez LEGO jewelry, complete with diamond insets!
The JS Forever Young collection includes LEGO bracelets, rings, earrings,
necklaces, and even cufflinks, all priced between the uh... *cough* reasonable
*cough* prices of $95-$350. They are VERY cute, but for a miser like me, a bit
pricey. (The middle photo is one of the rings, the right one a bracelet from this line.)
So, Shanalogic also offers a super-spicy hot pink LEGO necklace designed by Marty Flint. It is made completely out of LEGOs (except for the chain, obviously) and uses the LEGOs as a clasp, too, which I find rather brilliant. :) AND, it is priced at the affordable $28. Sadly, MF has only made one item in this line, but there may be more to come! (The left photo is of this necklace)
And, if you're not tired of them already, thinkgeek has all sorts of other cool LEGO accessories to choose from, ranging from silverware to iPod speakers and calendars! (Click here to see them all.)

Berets are one of my favorite fashions that have come back from the past. They're great for the oncoming cold weather, and they look SUPER cute. In my past, only rebels, poets, and hippie peeps would even think of wearing a beret, but TIMES HAVE CHANGED (for the better, in my opinion). In modern high schools, it's perfectly normal for the "popular kids" to be seen wearing berets both in class and out.
The ones on the styleboard I put together are all from ModCloth.com, one of my favorite indie stores. I LOVE the red button one, and the pompom one, but the orange seems to fall a bit short.
Please leave comments and tell me what you think of different ones!!
