I found these jeans on amazon for only 17 dollars. I know after my post about how much a good pair of jeans is worth, I had decided that my next pair would be quality. At this price though, I couldn't resist.

The top is Go International from Target, the red headband is from Target as well, the jeans are Seven7 on Amazon, the shoes are from a shoe party that I had, the ring is Forever 21.

The other day I came across a houndstooth skirt on eBay. I'm a teeny bit in love with all things houndstooth so I snatched it up with the "buy it now" feature for a pretty decent price. I'm the sort of eBayer that pays it right away, I've always found it strange that there is usually a few days allowance to pay.

Forty-eight hours later, I have the gorgeous skirt in my hands. For that reason I wanted to give a shout out to Mel and her eBay store Mel's Shoppe Vintage. That is the absolute fastest I've received something that I bought online. I am beyond pleased.

A white or black top didn't seem right, and red seemed too typical so I pulled this purple top from last fall out of my closet and I think it was perfect.

I didn't really have any great shoes to wear with the outfit sadly. Rubyslippers mentioned some round-toe T-strap shoes, but the left heel on mine is breaking and I didn't want to risk it.

Found this great plaid shirt at a thrift store. Mixing it with the body hugging American Apparel double-u neck dress and cinching it up with a belt made it an outfit I love. The shoes are Nine West.

I love Richard  Chai's collection for Target. So many fantastic pieces. This is a dress from that collection.
Topped off with a cardigan from Old Navy, Nine West Shoes and a Gryson for Target bag.

The Lash Stash ($50...
I've now had a chance to try out every mascara in The Lash Stash I got last week. Each day, these are the notes I took on what I liked and didn't like.

Benefit A Little Bit BADgal - I didn't love the brush. It clumped up my lashes so I had to put my Tweezerman lash comb to use. Once I combed it out and applied a few layers, it looked satisfactory to me. Late into the night, I noticed a bit of smudging under my eyes. This is something I've gotten used to not having when using the Imju Fiberwig mascara.

Blinc Kiss Me Mascara - It went on fairly easily with little combing to get the desired look. I thought it was a cool concept to not have to use eye makeup remover to take it off. I was satisfied.

LORAC Publicity Stunt Lashes - Went on easy, but my lashes seem shorter than I'm used to.

Smashbox Bionic Mascara - It went on pretty well, no complaints. Again, shorter looking lashes than I'm used to.

Stila Multi-Effect Mascara - I loved the curved brush on this one, but the end of it was kind of goopy. It made it difficult to coat the outer lashes without making them clump. The clumps are easily removed though.

Sephora Brand Lash Plumper - I quite liked the brush for this mascara. I think it worked very well, no clumps and it coated the lashes nicely. I didn't even pull out my comb. The look didn't last however, by midday the mascara had mostly come off and I had black under my eyes.

Too Faced Lash Injection in Black - This is easily my favorite of the 7. I love the brush and it went on well, no clumps.
All in all I think this kit was good. I may not have fallen in love with them all, but I still think that they are all decent products. Like I said, the Too Faced was my favorite and I loved the way the Blinc mascara worked.

I would recommend this kit to anyone that wears mascara. I think there is something for everyone in it. Anyone that has tried it, I'd love to hear what you thought about it.

Doodlebook frame
If you're anything like me, you have constantly changing ideas about home decor. I have never once finished decorating my bedroom because my ideas for it change on nearly a day-to-day basis.
I think it depends on my mood.

This picture frame seems perfect for this kind of decorating ADD. It's sort of a doodle or sketch pad that surrounds the photo. You can change the way it looks as often as your mood changes.

Just imagine the all of the different looks you could create with this medium! Let your inner creative genius take charge and make this photo frame your own!
