Thanks to ilykthx, I stole this from her blogazine.

Personal Stuffs:

How tall are you?
5’3"

What is your shoe size?

Normally a 4 or a 5, but I have been known to need a 3 or a 6. Depends on the style of the shoe I guess.

What color is your hair?
Dark brown with lots of white bits.

What is your ethnicity?
British mixed race.

Where do you live?

Scarborough, England. It's by the sea and I love it.

Style:

What is your favorite online shopping website?
Kaboodle obviously. Also, Net-a-Porter for wishful thinking, HQ Hair for beauty supplies and countless other websites I don't have the space to list.

How would you describe your style?
Defined by my moods. Some days I will wear a dress and heels, some days it's just jeans and a tank top. I love prints, bright colours and animal/insect themed jewellery though.

What's your favorite shoe style?
Argh, being a true shoe-lover this is hard to answer. Flip flops for comfort, or, a pair of heels with a platform, concealed or otherwise. Topshop heels are my all-time favourites.

K Lists:

Which list would you say you add to the most?
My Jewellery list seems to be the most full.

Which of your lists is your personal favorite?
My Gifts list. It's a great way to keep track of all of the gift ideas I have seen for my friends and family.

What is your one pet peeve in lists?
Really long lists. Which some of mine are on the border of being. I feel an organisational session is looming ...

What do you always make sure to do with your lists?
I'm quite fussy about them being just-so, no spelling mistakes, making sure the correct picture shows up. I also make sure the title is coherent and tells a viewer what the product is.

Favorites:

What is your favorite food?

Italian for the carb-factor.

What is your favorite drink?
Coca Cola ... I reckon I'm addicted ... or a cup of tea (milk and two sugars). Vodka & orange is always welcome too ;)

What is your favorite color?
I'm a pink kinda gal, but I rarely wear it. I love to wear mustard-coloured clothing.

What is your favorite dessert?
A cheeseboard. I'm more savoury than sweet.

5 Random Facts
1. I have the musical taste of a 70-year-old.
2. I'm happiest when wearing my PJs.
3. I missing two toenails, on my little toes.
4. I have yet to find my "talent".
5. The thing I am most scared of is the weird puppet mask from the Saw films.

How many of you out there are seduced by packaging? Be honest. I know I am.

It's so hard not to be drawn in by beauty products. Not only do they claim to erase wrinkles, firm skin, reduce imperfections and basically turn us all into godesses, but they are packaged in such an alluring way it's hard to resist at times.

Now don't get me wrong, I love things to look nice. I'm all for the aesthetics of things, but not when function is compromised. Or when packaging is so ridiculously excessive ... but don't get me started on waste!

Take the lip balm here. Badger Balms are packaged in such a whimsical way. The cute little badger holding a tangerine is what first drew me to this product, which is essentially a fruit-flavoured lip balm. If this had been in a plain plastic tube would I have been as interested?

Lush products are either completely free of packaging (yay!) or in simple, fuss-free plastic pots and tubs. There's no chance of being sucked in by ribbons, embossed cardboard packaging and the like here. It's the quality of the product inside that counts with Lush.

The appearance of this toner from Boots' Original Beauty Formula range was the deciding factor for me. I've used the same toner since I was a teenager but the elegant glass bottle and the old-fashioned label that is straight out of the archives at Boots is what drew me to this product. Yeah, it's a good toner, but what I like more is the fact that it looks great in my bathroom. It has that nostalgic feel to it, as if it has been around for many years, just without all the dust.

So spill. Does beauty product packaging make a difference to you?
