Hard to find complete set of shakers with holder. Donkey has 2 hooks from which "jugs" wrapped in rope hang, one for the salt and another for the pepper. Donkey is painted in shades of wine and blue. He's got a sweet face and HUGE ears. Very cute. Unmarked. Donkey is 3 3/4 inches high. Salt and pepper are about 2 3/4 inches high including the rope. Cork stoppers. Salt has a dab of darker yellow paint on the back. Donkey has minor crazing on his belly. Otherwise in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, flakes, etc... See less

These are marked Japan on the bottoms and have their original corks. They both measure about 1 ¾ inches high and inches long. Appear to be unused. In mint condition. No chips, flakes, crazing, etc… zilch. See less

Cute little collectible vintage 1950’s salt & pepper shaker set. Darling pack mule couple, representing California’s historic gold rush. The details to be found on the animal’s pack is just amazing. Even though these tiny shakers are only a little bit over 2 inches tall, you can clearly make out the red rolls, shovels, baskets, etc. that they carry on their backs. The salt shaker has a shield on its pack which depicts a map of California and related scenes such as the mountains, the sun and palm trees. Not to mention a sailboat where you can even see the seagulls flying overhead. Very cool. These are marked Japan and appear to be copper with a darker “antiquing finish” layered over the top. Only about 2 inches high with fabulous detailing and a whole lot of heft for their size. Original cork stoppers are intact. In excellent condition, ready and willing to be added to your collection. Way too cute shaker set. Salt is a coffee maker with a "female" cup of coffee on top. Salt fills top portion of machine only, the base is hollow. Pepper is a "male" coffee pot that sits inside the maker when not in use. Plastic stoppers. Unmarked.... See more

Way too cute shaker set. Salt is a coffee maker with a "female" cup of coffee on top. Salt fills top portion of machine only, the base is hollow. Pepper is a "male" coffee pot that sits inside the maker when not in use. Plastic stoppers. Unmarked. Coffee maker is 4 1/2 inches high to the top of the cup. Pepper coffee pot is 1 1/4 inches high. Very, very small amount of crazing on the "drip" portion of the machine, i.e. upper inside, where its not seen. The rest of the salt is free of any chips or cracks. The pepper has a tiny bit of flaking on the black handle which has been touched up and is not terribly noticeable. Overall, excellent condition. See less
