bittorrent directory, welcome to my bittorrent bittorrent indexing site, the worlds largets bittorrent website. To share a torrent files using BitTorrent, a user creates a .torrent file (using a bittorrent maker program), Bittorrent search engine a small "pointer" torrent file that contains: the filename, size, and the hash of each block in the torrent file (which allows users to make sure they are downloading the real thing from bittorrents) the address of a "bittorrent tracker" server and some other data. The bittorrent file can then be distributed to other torrent users, often via a torrent email or placed on a bittorrent website (or bittorrent directory). The BitTorrent client is then started as a "torrent seed node", allowing other bittorrent users to connect and commence downloading the torrent. When other users finish downloading the entire file from bittorrents, they can optionally "reseed torrent" it--becoming an additional source for the bittorrent file. bittorrent news... See less
