It helps to heal blemishes, close pores, maybe strengthen skin? smooth skin, and improve the clarity/skin tone. That’s pretty good actually:) I expect instant results from a product, and I saw a difference in a few uses. I use my face lotion under this! I tried it without and my skin was just dry and sad, and i wash it off in the morning. It does give a lot of volume to my very long--but still pretty thin and wispy--lashes, but the trouble I had initially was in trying to maneuver the brush! I've tried several mascaras with big, full brushes and never had a problem, but I still have a hard time keeping the mascara off my eyelids as I apply it. I love the idea of the weirdly-shaped brush, if I could just figure out how to use it correctly! My other issue is that this mascara is definitely not waterproof in the slightest and it seems that the tiniest bit of water/humidity will make it smudge--hello, football player eyes! Aside from that, though, this is the silkiest mascara I've ever worn--my eyelashes don't get the "spider effect," which is the term I use to refer to the stiff, brittle lashes you tend to get with most mascaras.
