Design Britt Kornum, 2003. Lamp shade plastic. Made in Denmark by Normann Copenhagen. The Norm 03 originally took shape in Britt Kornum's house and was hung above her dining table. After much encouragement from her friends and acquaintances, Britt eventually contacted Normann Copenhagen. They instantly fell for the shades organic and very alive-looking form and began production. When the lamp is turned on, it casts a shadow on the ceiling that reinforces the 'alive' impression. Two long strips fold in and out of each other in a snake-like pattern, creating, in their own way, order from chaos. The Norm 03 is a beautiful, fun and inexpensive modern lighting kit. No tools, glue or grief required...the 39pc kit comes complete with easy to follow instructions.
