I've been involved in training for public radio since
1983 starting with Western Public and produced music programs for
over 13 years on KALW and KPFA. I covered Native American issues as
Associate Producer, Editor, and Digital Mix Engineer for "Spirits Of The
Present: The Legacy From Native America" for Radio Smithsonian, The
Native American Public Broadcasting Consortium, and PRI. I was also the
Associate Producer for "Legacies: Tales from America," a Media Rites
documentary series for NPR, and an Associate Producer for Lost and Found
Sound. I served on assignment in Managua, Nicaragua during the
Contra-Sandinista Civil War. I have also been a freelance
producer and reporter for the BBC, a training consultant for NPR,
General Manager of KALW-FM, San Francisco, and theSenior Producer of the
Hot Soup Program and Digital Training Manager for KQED FM, San Francisco.
I also specialize in minidisc recovery.
