It has a single metal hook clasp that the plating has worn off of somewhat, and the adhesive has a bit of a patina underneath a couple of the gems. Showcased in a tiny corked vial, a bright butterfly rests on a red spotted mushroom. This is the first of a series featuring small terrarium-inspired woodland scenes. A small mushroom has been hand-molded from polymer clay, carefully painted and detailed, and set on a bed of real, preserved moss. The butterfly is a tiny photograph that has been cut and assembled. The glass vial is strung on chocolate brown satin cording and closes with a toggle clasp. The cork (and the tiny eyepin in it) have been secured with glue; the cork is not easily removable from the glass vial, to protect it from falling off while you wear it. If you would like a different color of cording let me know; I've have black and a coppery orange color on hand, but I can probably obtain other colors; just ask. Lengths are of course customizable. The necklace comes in a standard 17" length. The glass vial measures right under an inch in length and about 1/2" in width. Please see my store policies for further details.... See less
