Wow – is this a trip down memory lane. I didn’t do a lot of “bridal” things when I got married. Sure I had a FAB dress, and was coerced into getting a veil (which I did love), but other than that, everything was fairly bare bones. I didn’t bother myself with uncomfortable wedding shoes (I went barefoot, and wore flip flops from Target to the reception), my jewelry was borrowed from a dear dear friend, and there wasn’t a tiara in sight. I did however, kind of obsess over my perfume. For whatever reason I wanted something fresh, simple, and something my husband would remember. I was living in LA at the time, and when my mom came out to help with final touches, we scoured the streets and small boutiques of Los Angeles in search of the perfect scent. In a small adorable shop on Third Street Fragonard’s Soleil was waiting for me. In it’s golden bottle, topped with a sunburst is sat on a small shelf, and I knew it was the one.
