The Web's newest password manager is also among the slickest. Developed by a group of ex-Microsoft programmers, Login King ($23.95) is wonderfully intuitive, and it takes password management a step farther than the average tool. Like most managers, it inputs your user name and password automatically each time you visit a site that requires a log-on. But you can also set up a list of so-called "1-Click Logins," which we love. Let's say you've set up a 1-Click Login for your eBay account. If you're browsing PCMag.com and you suddenly get the urge to check your auctions, you simply select that 1-Click Login, and Login King points your browser to eBay and signs you on. Think of it as Favorites with benefits. Though it also runs in a standalone window, Login King installs a toolbar along the top of Internet Explorer, and this toolbar includes a pull-down menu that gives you access to all your 1-Click Logins.
