More than a decade later, MSCL still holds up as the most realistic portrayal of teenage life I've ever seen on television and I'm still in love with it! The characters are so true to life! They use 'like' in just about every sentence and the dialogue is simple and poignant without sounding like it comes straight out of some corny teen movie. They even wear the same outfits more than once and don't always look like they stepped right out of a fashion magazine. It's a shame that MSCL only lasted 19 episodes. Few shows have been as touching or affected me as much as MSCL has. I still get chills when I watch the Halloween and Christmas episodes. This DVD set is a must-have for TV fans of all ages.
