Speaking of taking longer than I expected - whew! I don't know if it took me longer to actually work on the pieces or to go through my stash to find things to use - lol. That's at the top of my resolution list - doing something with the stash. Sell, donate, wallpaper the walls - something! This is where it was on November 29th and here it is complete (as of 5 minutes ago :) I am SO in love with this calendar. I really enjoyed working with bits and pieces of my scrapbook stash and the fact that each day is different made it 25 little projects that each gave me a wonderful feeling of satisfaction as I finished them. I miss crafting so much. Paper scrapping not so much - crafting, oh yes. The details: the calendar grid is a piece of Chatterbox cardstock cut to 10" wide x 12" high and the black cardstock is Bazzill that I trimmed to fit the cookie sheet and then rounded the corners on. The 2005 Winter MS Kids magazine had this tree in there. The ornaments used in the magazine were beautiful colored buttons but since I don't have those we used construction paper instead. To make one, first cut a 4- by 12-inch rectangle from a piece of decorative scrapbook paper and fold it in half to create a double-layer 4- by 6-inch rectangle. 2. Form the collar by cutting 2 matching 1-inch-long horizontal slits about 1 inch below the fold. 3. Fold over the 2 flaps as shown, then glue them down with a 5-inch-long tie shape cut from another piece of decorative paper glued between them. Glue a pair of small buttons to the collar. 4. Once the glue has dried, lift the bottom front of the card and write a Father's Day greeting inside. See less

Fuzzy white baby socks and felt transform eggs into a fun flock. What you'll need: Fuzzy white baby sock (0-6 months), scissors, tan felt, pink felt, tacky glue, two googly eyes, black embroidery floss, needle, two 1/2-inch white pom-poms. Make it: Cut sock to 2 1/2 inches tall. Cut two outer ear pieces from tan felt and two inner ear pieces from pink felt using the templates. Glue the pink piece to the center of the tan piece and repeat for other ear. Once dry, glue ears to the sides of the sock, pink side down. Cut a circle 1 1/4 inches in diameter out of tan felt and glue to sock. Glue googly eyes on the circle and stitch an upper-case "Y" below the eyes with embroidery floss for the nose and mouth. Glue two 1/2-inch white pom-poms to the front bottom edge for the feet. See less
