Ok, so like after 5 hours of trying to get my desktop computer to work with Ustream.TV I gave up and switched to my laptop. I recorded this short video clip in my living room via a wireless connection within 5 minutes.

I talk about niche markets like migraine headaches, yeast infections, back pain, knitting and pet care in this clip. Streaming live and/or recorded video can be used by network marketers, direct sales trainers, event promoters, seminar leaders and anyone who wants to add more value to their customer or viewer experience.

My live version of DAVE TV is not quite ready for primetime but it will be soon…let me know your thoughts on this, leave me a comment below.

I was so jazzed this morning…I was testing out the Ustream.TV instant recording feature to make instant web videos. This is a pretty amazing technology that allows you to create live streaming video on the web, as well as 1-click recordable web vids.

Unfortunately, something is terribly wrong with my audio settings. Either that, or my spaceship flew through a wormhole at the exact moment that I recorded this clip for you. It s basically unwatchable. But I thought I d share it with you here so you can get a laugh. It is a promising technology, stay tuned for live Dave TV coming soon!

One of the cool things about blogging is meeting new people. A few weeks ago I ran a contest to nominate the Top 10 Young Hot Money-Making Blogs. One of the top 10 was Alex from HowtoSpoter.

He just created a very interesting promotional tool called a Blog Reciprocal Review Carousel. If you have your own blog, pay attention. If you don t have your own blog, scream the word quot;WHY? quot; as loud as you can…common, I double dare you! When I was a kid, I got my very first chain letter. It was from a man named Edward L. Green. It was a very official looking document outlining the legal loophole that he discovered in the mail system. Bob C. from Oklahoma had followed this loophole and had made over $6000 dollars!

All I had to do was send a $5 bill to 5 people and order the special report that each one had. Then I was to make 100 copies of the package and mail them out. Soon I would be getting oodles of money in the mail every single day!

This was nearly 30 years ago. I cleaned out my piggy bank, mailed off the money, used the quot;photostat quot; machine at my dad s office to make copies, mailed them out (a stamp was ten cents back then) , and sat eagerly awaiting my fortune.Click www.didyousmellthat.com

"Honey, I broke the blog!" In the first 4 hours I had 109 subscribers to this blog via the aweber optin box in the top right corner. Aweber has this nifty program now to email blog subscribers anytime its updated. I dropped in one of their stock templates and forgot to modify it. My apologies to my readers if they got a grotesque brown html email filled with latin gibberish. I goofed. This is why my staff never let me touch webpages…we have a zero tolerance policy for any management to ever modify anything that a technology ace could do. But this is my blog so I get to mess it up. Now when someone subscribes in the top right corner they get a plain text email which is easier on the eyes and on the browser. Have you ever messed up one of your websites? Share your shame publicly, leave me a comment below! The best self-inflicted website disaster story will get an "honorable mention" next week in one of my posts!
