(04/08/09) This is an ancient symbol most commonly representing the ideas of cyclicality, unity, or infinity. The ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism and frequently used in alchemical illustrations. This particular ring is cast in Bronze, but each ring will be made to order so you may have it in silver or gold also. Please keep in mind that bronze, although it has a rich, warm color, has a tendency to leave a "green" ring around the wearers finger if worn for a few hours or more. Rubbing the inside with a polishing cloth every day or so can almost eliminate this problem. A sterling silver version will be $145.
