This unbelievably tiny (1 1/8" long!) skull was originally found in a science teacher's supply catalog. The original belonged to a ruby-throated hummingbird, (Archilochus colubris) which are mostly found in eastern and central US, but breeds throughout the central US and Central America. Often found in gardens, it winters in tropical rainforest. Reaching a length of only 3 inches, they are, along with other hummingbirds, the smallest birds in the world. We cast this specimen in sterling silver and and put each piece on a delicate sterling silver chain. They're spectacularly detailed and true-to-life, and suitable for wear by both men and women. Total chain length is 22". Spring ring clasp at back. See less

This ring is made from a REAL Octopus tentacle which has drilled, carved, shaped and cast in Sterling Silver! This ring is definitely one of my favorites. I like it because it's versatile. It looks different from all angles when you spin it around your finger! It has a nice sexy flowing curve to it. The texture on it is amazing! And, it has all of those cute little suction cups flowing all around the ring! There is a nice weight and chunkiness to the piece. Oh, and the best part is that it's Sushi Grade! Ha ha ha! It looks great on both guys and gals!! The finish is light oxidation with some added texture. The inside is finished with a near mirror finish for contrast. It is also available in dark oxidation and bright finish. Sizes 4 - 7 available. Since this is a split ring, the ring will look slightly different depending on what size you get.
