Ladye Catherine Swift is a Diamond K FOlk Art Original, One of a Kind Queen Anne doll~ She stands 18" tall. I have sculpted her in the earlier William & Mary style. Her head and arms are hand sculpted in paper mache, and I have given her an absolutely gorgeous set of c1840 or earlier antique glass eyes. Catherine is one of my Grande Dame Queen Anne dolls, her body is stuffed with excelsior straw and rags for a nice weighty feel. Her hand stitched wardrobe of undress will include: knit stockings with embroidered clocks, silk garters, leather soled slippers, bumm roll, reproduction shift of antique linen & embroidered with her initials on the front, calico pocket bound in silk, little wee pocket watch(nonworking), period correct stays and antique mull & lace cap. All her clothing comes on and off, and being a Grande Dame, the owner may send her back at any time for redressing(for added fee).
