PS! i was looking around my french grandmothers apartment and their "Salon" is seriously beautiful. They have a venetian chandelier (pink, light blue, yellow glass and everything) and the walls are so cutely french like white with yellow trimmings that outline the walls. its really cute. unfortunately its all oldpersoned-out. so theres like too much furniture, african art, and family photos. and two oversized antique rugs in the middles. and that gross taupe grey gag color of the sofas that you cant sit on because you slide right off... but i took pics of it (that i need to send you!) so you can be french inspired in your interior design... maybe you can remodel the room in drawing?
if you do, definetly take out the marble fireplace -- shmansy but gross
