The sole has a slight support that makes walking easy. I noticed many people peeking on them, they really do make an impression. However, I agree with the review about the straps being too much around the ankle, as a result they would look better on people with long legs. I have short legs so I removed the middle strap completely, it comes off pretty easily and it doesn't look like it's missing. That made them look lighter and still gorgeous. Totally worth what I paid for! See less

(08/18/09) These are cute sandals, and they look relatively well-made. The patent leather is rather stiff and "sounds" plastic-y, but not uncomfortable or cheap looking. However, I purchased the orange color and upon arrival, I found that they were more of a neon orange than the burnt orange that they appear to be on the website. Woh-woh. Regarding the size/fit, the sandals are a little on the larger side, which is more evident at the back of the foot-bed (I ordered a 7.5), but not enough to be a whole half size larger. I have wider feet, but the sandal width is adequate. All in all, a cute, simple sandal, but not sure if I'm diggin' the 80s orange. See less
