1950's Peggy Hunt lace illusion bodice cocktail dress. The bodice is a sheer flesh toned net covered in black lace with a built-in bustier made of a pink crepe. Black crepe trim along the bust with a bow at the center. Black crepe straight skirt. Metal zipper up the back. Condition: good. No problems on the outside of the dress, no holes, stains or wear found. However, while the dress has the bustier to cover-up under the sheer lace, the lining of the bustier has been cutout for some reason. It may have had some support originally, possibly boning. As it is now, the bustier still does the job, but lacks the extra support if it still had its lining. See less

1950's Dayton's Oval Room dark blue silk faille dress with pink polka dots, by House of Kunel. This dress is gorgeous! Cute rounded collar and unique flared sleeves that have a center pleat. Three fabric covered buttons up the front with a snap and hook/eye closure at the waist. Full skirt with a large pleat at the front center and wide pleats around the back. Skirt fully lined with a black silk organza. Also an attached under skirt hemmed with several inches of stiff horsehair. Labels include, "The Dayton Oval Room," "Pure Silk," and "House of Kunel." [Photographed with an additional crinoline to show skirt] Condition: Excellent/near mint. Cannot find any flaws beyond some slight rubbing to the fabric on the inside back collar where the label is sewn. See less

Measurements Bust: 34” Ribcage/empire waist: 27” Waist: 26” Hip: up to 35” Length: 37” Shoulder to empire waist length: 11” in front and 12.5” in back Label: Peck & Peck Description Bright emerald and sapphire mixed with black, make this 1960’s brocade dress a colorful addition to your cocktail wardrobe! The flattering design has a rounded neckline, a fitted, empire bodice, and a knee-length skirt, which flares out towards the hem. The waist seam at the back is lower than the empire seaming below each side of the bust in the front. Below the deeper scoop neckline of the back, the dress closes with round covered buttons ending in a bow. The center skirt panel snaps and hooks closed behind one of the two large pleats that create the flare in the skirt. The dress is lined in black taffeta, and is in excellent condition. The bust darts of this dress are quite high, requiring a vintage-style push-up bra to fill them properly. See less
