Description Plaid wool early 50s swing coatdid someone say heaven? Swing coats of the late 40s and early 50s are one of my favorite vintage items, and red, black and ivory plaid makes this coat a vintage outerwear winner! The coat closes with three black plastic buttons and has slash pockets. The sleeves are full and cuffed. The cut of the coat is more full in the back than the front, giving it that swing shape. The lining is black crepe, and although the wool of the coat is in great condition, the lining has some small holes at the hem and needs repair at the underarms. None of these problems with the lining are visible when the coat is worn, however. The coat fits approximately like a modern extra small to small (see measurements for more sizing details). See less
