A pocketed outer layer, constructed from hi-tech stretch fabric, has individual foam pieces inserted within it. This outer layer is texturally rich and inviting. This chair made it to the front page of Etsy! This diminutive hardwood chair still comfortably seats an adult who does not mind perching a bit lower to the ground than usual.. Every surface of this (technically child's sized) chair has been emblazoned with a forest of designs which I burned directly onto the chair, with pyrography tools. It has been finished with several layers of shine and is very durable...a very sturdy chair, very delicately decorated. The chair is two feet and three inches high. The seat is 14 inches off the floor...( I am 5 foot 8 and I still sit comfortably on this chair..) the seat measures about three feet square.. This chair weighs about ten pounds, and rests flat on the floor. Children gravitate to this chair, and adults love it too. It is signed and dated on the bottom panel by the artist.
