This "Leah" Elizabethan corset features 3 layers: a dupioni silk fashion fabric, a cotton coutil strength layer, and a cotton lining for comfort and style. (For other currently available fabrics, see the 5th photo or contact me about any shade of silk dupioni or taffeta you like!) This corset is truly a work of art! It contains a modesty placket for front or back lacing (your choice), only steel boning (guaranteed never to rust) or historically-accurate reed boning, supportive shoulder straps, waist tabs to prevent discomfort, and triple-reinforced grommets. You also have the option of adding a wooden busk at the front. It features internal boning casings, silk bound edges, and comes with an extra long, sturdy lacing ribbon or string. This corset is suggested for moderate tight-lacing (up to a 4" reduction in the waist!), and may be worn for fashion or as a historically-accurate undergarment, perfect for reenactment!
