Certain industrialists disagree. This is a one-of-a-kind, hand made brooch/pin. The propeller moves. All of the parts of this piece were made by the artist (excluding the bar pin back). My signature is on the back and it is copyrighted. The pin measures approx 1 5/8 in x 7/8 in (4 cm x 2.3 cm). For those who are interested in these sorts of things; I made this pin from 13 different pieces of metal (plus the bar pin back) and used 11 different soldering operations to put it together. True to the time period, it contains no plastics, and a minimal amount of industrial glue. It is made up of various metals, steel, copper, brass- possibly some bronze and aluminum- all drilled and bolted together, ending in a wooden handle. None are true 'gun parts', but rather everyday elements reconfigured to look like something a mad scientist would carry. This model in particular sports a glass globe protecting the volt chamber inside, and has a loop on the gun's handle for hanging on a hook or the pocket chain of the distinguished gentleman owner. No moving parts. This is a display piece or prop only. Like anything made with glass, it should be handled carefully but is made sturdily to withstand much use and contact. It's not superglued together. It is strategically bolted solid, and the only points of industrial glass glue are where metal contacts glass.... See less
