On the other side is a simple asymmetrical charm on a bare earwire. The strings are very petite and light. We've had so many requests from lovers who want two initials on a necklace that we've developed this double-initial letterpress necklace. It's a more personalized version of the very popular "Letterpress Necklace" we've been selling on our website for awhile now. Buy it here: http://ericaweiner.com/n_goldletterpress.php A recent work-study program at the New York Center for Book Arts yielded a treasure trove of old moveable iron type. Originally used on hand-cranked Vandercook Proof Presses, each piece of type used in these necklaces were worn out ever so slightly by normal printing use, and were consigned to a bin to be melted down and re-cast. These obsolete pieces (each measures a little under 1" long) have been rescued, covered in 14K Gold, and hung from a 22" 14K gold vermeil figaro chain. Spring ring clasp secures chain at back.
