(02/11/09) this retro inspired ring from the 'mariner' collection is an original design handmade by molly proctor. this is a solid resin ring. the smoothness & final shape are achieved by hand carving, sanding & polishing. all colors are created individually. remember, these rings are handmade & they look handmade. there are usually some surface scratches from sanding, and possibly little bubbles from the curing process. this makes them different & authentic. I do my best to represent the rings properly in the pics. NOTE: I guarantee my work, so if something unexpected happens I will take care of it. resin is super durable & won't break if you drop it on cement. colors will not leach. do not leave in direct sunlight. thanks for looking! xoxo molly See less

(12/30/08) This is proof of early showmanship and technology! This model was available from 1939 - 1950 only. It has no tab key because that was not yet invented. It is a 4 bank style, meaning 4 rows. There is a "backspacer" key. This typewriter is complete with a case, in which the typewriter is actually locked in to. All keys work as does the carriage return and space bar. It is in fantastic condition in addition to the case. Underwood produced what is considered the first widely successful, modern typewriter. By 1939, Underwood had produced five million machines. There is lots of history behind Underwood and were considered a leader in office machines.
