In fact, this is really gentle. It doesn't contain all those extra drying ingredients to make the cleanser lather up (lather really has nothing to do with whether a product works or not, the additives just cause dryness). Another great characteristic is that a little truely does go a long way. You will need very little to do the job. If you suffer from extremely dry skin all year or seasonally you may want to use this cleanser only once a day or discontinue use for the dry part of the year. I don't think this cleanser will over dry your skin, but it may not add the softening a person with dry skin needs in a cleanser. With that said, I think that this cleanser is great for everyone almost all the time. I am extremely pleased. You will be, too!" See less
