This is a Birdseye Maple Board. It is Approx. 18 " long, 7" wide and 7/8" thick. I used food coloring to give the wood a very slight Amber color and to make the "figure pop". Birdseye maple is a very hard wood and is named after the figure in the wood that resembles birds eye's. I installed rubber legs with SS screws to reduce slipage and ease handling. It would grace any dinner table and make a fine and unique gift. As with all my products, made in my one man shop from locally bought lumber.
