This was exactly what I wanted! The metal used for the pans is not cheap or bendable. I really liked that. Secondly, the magnetic tray it sits in is nice and thin, not bulky at all. Only downside is there is no mirror but I suppose that's not a big deal. Anyway, I used this try to transfer 4 lipsticks lipsticks, 1 concealer (timebalm), 2 liners (mac, black and brown), and three NARS multiples (copacabana, south beach, orgasm), and a cream blush (wet-n-wild 3 of a kind, 722a). I used a kitchen knife for the lipsticks, and a small (jolene cream bleach) spatula for everything else. You will need plenty of cotton balls and paper towels to clean off your knife and spatula during the process. I took a small metal try for my toaster oven, covered it in aluminum foil and places the pans with products on top. I heated the oven to 150-200 degrees and placed the tray inside. Watch closely for any melting products. Different products have different melting temperatures so you should take out the try after any one of the products has completely melted. After all of the items had melted I wiped off any product on the outside of the tray. I took another metal baking dish and placed some ice cubes in it. This cooled the dish down so when i took the melted trays and placed them in the dish (away from the cubes), they set much faster). Finally, I discovered that mac gel eyeliners don't melt... so that was unfortunate, but it was a really old eyeliner and I smoothed it out enough that it didn't look messy. My final makeup kit has left much more room in my vanity drawer and I'm really happy with the results! | Was this review helpful to you? Yes No
