To start off with I ordered it on the 28th of September and recieved it on the 8th of October. This is great delivery time as I'm located Down Under. 10 days shipping :). The first reaction was good, nothing broken or wrong with my order (I ordered palettes too). The brushes have a funny smell to them. It's not toxic or anything. just not pleasing. I'm a freak with smells - so if I say it smells horrid it does. These brushes smell a little off but it's nothing too horrible that will make your stomach churn. (Like rubber - ergh!) I washed the brushes in a mild soap solution in warm water and I noticed that from the larger red sable brushes there was a lot of red/brown colour coming from them. I don't mind this as I figure it's all washed out now. There was a lot more on the larger brushes, but there was also a small amount on the smaller ones too. I don't like the Badger Blending Fan. It's horrible. Very scratcy and course and the hairs are all bending out from the sides - even though i moulded it carefully back into place after washing. But I LOVE all the other brushes. They really are fantastic. I would recommend anyone who is starting out to buy this as the price is amazing. And the brushes (exluding the Badger Blending Fan) are SUPER SOFT. :) | Was this review helpful to you? Yes NoSee less »
