Diamond Nexus Labs Review : I have been on the search for the best diamond simulant and I thought I would share my experience with Diamond Nexus Labs. This is my official Diamond Nexus Labs review. I have been a good customer of theirs for a year now. I own 5 different items, two rings and 3 pendants. I own the Speak softly bezel set pendant in one carat in both14k white and yellow gold. I also own the Promessa pendant and the Lorian platinum ring called Artemis. I also had them set a 2.4 carat DNL asscher stone in one of my own 14k white gold settings. The DNL stones are better than regular cubic zirconia, but I have been pretty disappointed with my purchases. They tell you their product is "better than a diamond" when you purchase and when I set my H color SI2 clarity 6mm diamond next to my diamond nexus labs rings, it makes them look like cheap plastic. Even my 6 year old boy said “Mommy why is that ring so foggy?”.When I freshly clean my DNL rings they look pretty good, not like a diamond, but a little better than a cubic zirconia... but after just a couple hours they get foggy looking just like a foggy cubic zirconia. Every time I have brought my ring into a jewelry store, the jewelers take one look and say "Oh is this cubic zirconia?" The pendants perform a little better than the rings because they are not handled so much when worn. I have some friends who recommend the Asha simulant, which I will be checking out next. I have heard from a number of friends that they are better than Diamond NExus labs. I found a link to a photo comparison of Asha and diamond Nexus Labs and it can be found here, the Diamond Nexus stone is on the middle finger and the Asha on the ring finger. The foggy look that the Diamond Nexus Labs stone has is EXACTLY what my Diamond Nexus Labs rings look like in real life when in the sun. They look better in the shade, but in the sun they are pretty embarrassing. : http://betterthandiamond.com/discussion/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/432780#Post432780 I am going to try to get a refund for my rings from Diamond Nexus Labs. I doubt I will get it because it is over 30 days, but I sure hope they can help me.
