Pantnagar camp was initiated as a result of endeavor of students who visited the OSScamp Delhi September 2008 and got addicted with the idea behind these camps to propagate open source. Eventually the camp took place on 31st January and 1st February 2009 and saw convergence of geeks, uninitiated's and enthusiasts from varied domains.The day began with Mohak and Kinshuk leading open house sessions, while everyone waited for Seth and Arun to arrive. People discussed a variety of topics - twitter, Google's hold on world data, Opera vs Firefox vs Chrome, and stuff.
