REFLEKZ solid color backgrounds in medium heavy weight drapes well. They are made of 100% cotton and the mill dying process gives them the truest of colors. The backgrounds are machine washable. The White-backdrop is finished on all four sides. You can use 4" spring clamps to hang the backdrops. This gives the backdrop a smooth and taut hanging fixture. Boom Kit: The REFLEKZ boom kit is designed for both studio and location shoots. The boom kit is an adjustable stand with arm featured light fittings and a non slip twist lock with a counter-weight bag. Ideal for positioning lights at any angle with the minimum of effort. It’s an absolute kit for any serious photographer. The boom kit has threaded tips which are suited to all major brands of lights and soft boxes. Light Stands: The stand is an extremely heavy-duty light weight stand capable of withstanding enormous weights. This ensures the stability of the stand, and the safety of lights and equipment set atop it. The stand also features a reinforced steel structure that allows for heavy loads without shaking; it is ideal for wide scenery shots (i.e. on movie sets), or on any outdoor wide-angle shoot sets. Support System: The 6 ft wide backdrop support system is designed to hold 6ft wide backdrops. It comes with 2 heavy duty top rods and two stands. White Umbrella: Umbrellas soften, broaden, and slightly diminish the light output of any tungsten or flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. Silver umbrellas also soften light, but not as much as white umbrellas. They do not diminish the light as much as white umbrella. White silk and taffeta umbrellas without a black backing may be used in the traditional bounce method, or as a makeshift shoot-through soft box, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a closed-sided light box. Another means to this end are umbrellas that have removable black backings.
